License to use website

Unless otherwise stated, Alma Mundus LLC («Alma Mundus») and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights to the website and the material on the website. Subject to the license below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.

You must not use this website to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications.

Restricted access

Access to certain areas of this website is restricted. Alma Mundus reserves the right to restrict access to other areas of this website, or indeed this entire website, at Alma Mundus’s discretion.

If Alma Mundus provides you with a user ID and password to enable you to access restricted areas of this website or other content or services, you must ensure that the user ID and password are kept confidential.

Alma Mundus may disable your user ID and password at Alma Mundus’s sole discretion without notice or explanation.

Reasonableness

Other parties

You accept that, as a limited liability entity, Alma Mundus has an interest in limiting the personal liability of its officers and employees. You agree that you will not bring any claim personally against Alma Mundus’s officers or employees in respect of any losses you suffer in connection with the website.

Without prejudice to the foregoing paragraph, you agree that the limitations of warranties and liability set out in this website disclaimer will protect Alma Mundus’s officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, and sub-contractors as well as Alma Mundus.

Indemnity

You hereby indemnify Alma Mundus and undertake to keep Alma Mundus indemnified against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including without limitation legal expenses and any amounts paid by Alma Mundus to a third party in settlement of a claim or dispute on the advice of Alma Mundus’s legal advisers) incurred or suffered by Alma Mundus arising out of any breach by you of any provision of these terms and conditions, or arising out of any claim that you have breached any provision of these terms and conditions.

Fee-based subscriptions

The price to be paid for your Subscription will be made clear to you on the Subscription order pages or otherwise during the order process and may vary from time to time.

Unless otherwise indicated, all prices are in US dollars (USD). You agree to pay the fees at the rates notified to you at the time you purchase your Subscription, together with any processing or other associated fees charged by the issuing bank/payment provider. Eligibility for any discounts is ascertained at the time you subscribe and cannot be changed during the term of your Subscription. We will always inform you in advance of any increase in the price of your Subscription and offer you an opportunity to cancel it if you do not wish to pay the new price.

When you purchase a Subscription to Alma Mundus and/or FlexiQuiz, you must provide us with complete and accurate payment information.

By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are entitled to use those payment details for this purpose. If we do not receive payment authorization or any authorization is subsequently canceled, we may immediately terminate or suspend your access to Alma Mundus and/or FlexiQuiz, and in suspicious circumstances, we may contact the issuing bank/payment provider and/or law enforcement authorities or other appropriate third parties.

Alma Mundus provides study solutions exclusively for clients who are duly registered candidates for the CFA ESG Investing Certificate, as issued by the CFA Institute, herein referred to as “the Certificate.” The following terms govern the access and use of the Alma Mundus Platform or FlexiQuiz platform (collectively referred to as “the Platform”) on behalf of Alma Mundus by clients:

1) Eligibility and Period of Access:

a) Access to the Platform is strictly limited to clients registered for the Certificate. It is a precondition that clients are duly registered candidates for the CFA ESG Investing Certificate on the CFA Institute Website.

b) The Certificate duration is six months upon the candidate’s registration for the Certificate (referred to as the Certificate registration period).

2) Intended Purpose of the Alma Mundus Platform:

a) The Alma Mundus platform is solely intended to support and assist clients in their preparation for successfully passing the CFA ESG Certificate Exam.

b) The use of the Alma Mundus platform for any other purposes is strictly prohibited.

3) Termination of Access:

a) If a client has already passed the CFA ESG Investing Certificate or is outside the CFA ESG Investing Certificate registration period, Alma Mundus reserves the right to terminate their account on the Alma Mundus platform without further notice and/or refund.

b) Clients do not need to terminate the contract, as it ends automatically after they pass the CFA ESG Investing Certificate.

4) Information Request

a) Alma Mundus reserves the right to, at any moment, request certain information from clients:

Proof of active CFA ESG Investing Certificate registration. An active CFA ESG Investing Certificate registration refers to the CFA ESG Investing Certificate registration period.
Date and results of candidates ‘exam attempts with the objective of knowing or confirming if the candidate has already passed the exam or is an active registered candidate for the CFA ESG Investing Certificate. An active registered candidate is a candidate with active CFA ESG Investing Certificate registration.
Should a client fail to provide the information requested by Alma Mundus, or should the information provided be found to intentionally mislead Alma Mundus in its search and conclusions, Alma Mundus reserves the right to terminate the account without any further notice or obligation to provide a refund for any services or products already rendered or purchased.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 7 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 7 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the first good.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by email.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 7 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.The withdrawal is to be addressed to us: Alma Mundus info@almamundus.com

Breaches of these terms and conditions

Without prejudice to Alma Mundus’s other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these terms and conditions in any way, Alma Mundus may take such action as Alma Mundus deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.

Variation

Alma Mundus may revise these terms and conditions from time to time. Revised terms and conditions will apply to the use of this website from the date of the publication of the revised terms and conditions on this website. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.

Assignment

Alma Mundus may transfer, sub-contract, or otherwise deal with Alma Mundus’s rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions without notifying you or obtaining your consent.

You may not transfer, sub-contract, or otherwise deal with your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.

Severability

If a provision of these terms and conditions is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.

Entire agreement

These terms and conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alma Mundus in relation to your use of this website and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the United States of America and Delaware. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Alma Mundus’s registered office in Delaware, USA.

Referral Program

1. The Referral Program conditions and benefits (available at https://mkt.almamundus.com/2ebe7BG1/referral-program) are applicable from the start date of the Referral Program and shall not be retroactively applied to previous purchases. The Referral Program start date is February 8, 2024.

2. This offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions and is non-redeemable for cash value.

3. The refund policy for the Referral Program is valid for a period of seven days, counting from the date of purchase.

4. In the event that Alma Mundus is required to refund the Referred Person within the refund policy period, a fee will be deducted from the refunded amount. This fee will be equivalent to 6% of the total refund amount.

5. The payment for the Referring Person’s reward will be processed within two days after the expiration of the refund policy deadline.

6. If a refund is requested by the Referred Person (refunded amount) after the refund policy deadline has passed and the payment has already been processed to the Referring Person, a fee will be deducted from the refunded amount. This fee will be equivalent to 6% of the total refund amount, in addition to the credit payment already processed to the Referring Person.

7. The Referring Person will receive a 10% credit of the amount paid by each referred person, up to a maximum limit of 80% of the Referring Person’s own purchase amount. The Referral Person can continue referring others, but they will not receive any additional credits beyond this limit. However, the Referred Person will still be able to avail themselves of the referral discount.

8. Alma Mundus reserves the right to cancel the Referral Program at any time and without prior notice.

Example

If the Referred Person purchases a Study Platform Plus ($307), they will receive a 15% discount and only pay $261. In addition, the Referring Person will receive a $26 credit, which equates to 10% of the $261 amount. The Referral Person can accumulate credits up to a maximum of 80% of their original purchase price. For instance, if the Referral Person purchased an Alma Mundus study solution for $307, the total cumulative credit amount would be 80% of $307, or $245. Once this limit is reached, the Referral Person can continue referring others but will not receive any additional credits. However, the Referred Person will still be able to enjoy the referral discount.
